DT Maize Bulletin – March 2015

Welcome to the first edition of DT Maize bulletin for 2015. This edition focuses on Mali, West Africa’s third largest

producer of maize even though it stands fifth in the area harvested. The 2010-13 FAO data show that the total area

harvested is close to 0.7 million hectares, with annual production of nearly 1.5 million metric tons.
