Drought proof seeds offer farmers hope

Deutsche Welle – Scientists in Zimbabwe have developed drought tolerant crops to combat food insecurity in drought-stricken Africa. The International Maize and Wheat Improvement Center (CIMMYT) says the new seed varieties could play a major role in safeguarding food security in Zimbabwe and across Africa.
